ITALTRONIC has developed a range of products especially for the energy counter manufacturers. Starting from particular needs in the market, Italtronic has designed enclosures which offer advantageous and practical solutions for the Customers. Such products are DIN 43880, IP20 and can be sealed. The products typology is divided into direct measurement energy counter enclosures and indirect measurement energy counter enclosures.

DIRECT MEASUREMENT
With reference to the direct measurement energy counter, the external current transformers are not used and the direct current flowing in the conductors is monitored; this involves the introduction of high intensity currents in the enclosure. The products available are of two types.

INDIRECT MEASUREMENT
In the indirect counter applications the current transformers are inserted between the energy counter and the load to be measured by the energy transformers. Such transformers low the current to a value the counter can easily manage. Therefore the current input is generally reduced to receive 5A. The energy counter can use as current transducers either the transformers or the shunts. Italtronic proposals for such products typology are the following ones.
